community newsShare your snaps with the REAL world!Sunday, 1 August 2010 Over the years people have often asked us how they can upload their own photos of an event to add to our coverage - so we've now added a cool new feature to make it really simple to share your best photos with the Singapore community... You can now add your own photos to an existing photo story by clicking the "upload your own photos" link on the story review page. If you want to share photos for an event that REALSingapore hasn't covered then let us know through the contact form and we'll add the event for you - ready for you to upload your photos. Regular contributors can create their own photo stories from scratch. Your photos will be watermarked with the REALSingapore logo as well as your name - so that everyone will know who shot the picture, even if it gets shared across Facebook or other homepages - as photos often do! Once your photos are uploaded they become part of the REALSingapore archive and anyone is free to vote on their favourite photo, add secret or not-so-secret 'Yums' to a photo or add captions and tag themselves too. User photo upload will be available on all new stories posted to the site, but again - if you have photos you want to share from an event already covered then please let us know which event you've got great photos of and we'll activate user photo upload on that story for you.
